For avid walkers, the Yorkshire Coast Path presents incredible sights and sounds of the sea and can be joined at Whitby. Explore charming villages and towns, such as Pickering (22 miles), a thriving market town that is often referred to as the ‘gateway to the great outdoors’ thanks to its opportunities in rambling, surfing and water sports.
